WAMHOUSE

While scrolling through my Instagram feed, I came across a page called @wamhouse. WAMHOUSE is an architecture and interior design company that conceptualizes houses after popular name brands. This is the first time I have ever seen any architecture like this. While architecture is very much considered art, seeing these conceptualizations led me to wonder where they fit in the "art world." This question came up to me because the architect is essentially taking the company's design and making it the foundation of the entire building. I feel that this is somehow different from the strategies we discussed in class where artists take others' work and include it as part of their own. However, I cannot seem to pin how exactly this is different. Any thoughts?
