Spatial Bodies

Spatial Bodies is a film created by AUJIK, a collective of artists, that distorts the Osaka, Japan skyline. The piece defies physics in the way the buildings are conceptualized. The film truly makes architecture look like it's a living organism growing out from under the ground. I found this interesting because, like other artists we've seen, it's a creation of a space for human viewing that incites certain feelings; however, this space never actually exists. It's a very interesting play on the connection between the realism from real life architecture and the surrealism that can digital enhancements can create.
