Subway Art
The various artworks in Tashkent's subway reminded me of the Subway Sticky Notes project in NYC. Aside from the obvious idea of art in a public and interactive location, both these projects seem to have bigger political implications. For Uzbekistan, these artworks being revealed seems to be intended as a stand against the global growing trend of authoritarianism.
